A historical and genealogical society founded to collect and preserve information respecting the early history and settlement of New Netherland by the Dutch.
The Long Island Branch of the Holland Society hosted a popular family picnic throughout the 60s and 70s. For the first time this century, we are inviting all Holland Society members, friends, and interested individuals to join us for our inaugural annual family picnic! The Holland Society of New York is pleased to announce the inaugural Junior Fellowship award, a fellowship designed to commence in September 2024 and conclude in August 2025. In an effort to promote and support new research about New Netherland, the Junior Fellowship is for a degree candidate who, at the time of application, has fulfilled all preliminary requirements for their terminal degree and are in the process of writing their dissertation.
