California Branch Event – Private Tour

Members and Friends joined Executive Director Sarah Bogart Cooney on Monday, February 16th (President’s Day), for a private, docent-led tour of one of LACMA’s new exhibitions, Collecting Impressionism. Collecting Impressionism contains works of art by Van Gogh and other Dutch artists and presents an in-depth look at some of LACMA’s permanent collection, soon to be on view in the newly-built Geffen Galleries.
Despite the rain, cold temperatures, and the flash-flood warnings, the branch event had an excellent turnout, with members joining us from Mexico and San Diego as well as the greater LA area.
